Colleen is a mother to two young girls, a lifelong learner, an educator, and a native Rhode Islander. Each of these identifiers directly impacts her role as Director of Education Services. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Roger Williams University, she has more than 20 years of experience in various learning environments, from classrooms to dance studios, working with students of all ages.
She holds a Graduate Certificate in Digital Literacy from the University of Rhode Island, reflecting her commitment to championing digital literacy in the community and empowering Rhode Islanders to be informed, engaged, and discerning global citizens. In her current role, Colleen plays a pivotal role in developing and executing the station’s education production and engagement strategy. Her deep understanding of the transformative power of quality educational media drives her to connect with children, parents, educators, and all community members, enriching their learning experiences through innovative programming.
